Cozy by Coffield, LLC ("Cozy by Coffield," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through cozybycoffield.com (the "Site") and our client services, why we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact and project information you provide directly — name, email address, phone number, mailing or project address, appointment details, project goals, room measurements, and messages.
- Project photographs — images of your space that you share with us or that we take during a consultation or project.
- Billing information, if you pay for services through the Site or a linked payment platform. Payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
- Automatically collected information — our website host, scheduling tool, forms provider, email platform, and analytics provider may collect device, browser, IP address, cookie, and website-usage information when you visit the Site.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule discovery calls and consultations, provide requested guides or resources, send updates or marketing messages you've requested, prepare proposals and invoices, deliver and improve our design services, operate and secure the Site, keep business records, and comply with the law.
Use of Project Photographs
We may want to feature photos of your project — before, during, or after — on our website, portfolio, social media, or in other marketing materials. We will only use identifiable photos of your home or project with your separate, specific consent, which we'll ask for directly (for example, in your project agreement or a photo release). You can decline or withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us; we'll remove future use of your images but can't guarantee removal from prior posts already shared or cached by third parties (for example, social platforms or search engines).
When We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that support our business operations, such as our website host, online forms and scheduling tools, customer relationship management (CRM) system, email delivery platform, analytics provider, and payment processor. We may also share information with legal or financial advisers or government authorities when required by law, or in connection with a sale, merger, or other business transaction.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not currently use personal information for targeted advertising across unrelated websites.
Text Messages
If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send you appointment reminders and/or marketing text messages. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can get help by replying HELP. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any services.
Cookies and Browser Signals
Our providers may use cookies or similar technologies needed to operate, secure, measure, or improve the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Because there is no universally accepted Do Not Track standard, this Site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Where applicable law requires recognition of a supported universal opt-out signal (such as Global Privacy Control), we will honor it.
Your Choices and Rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message.
As a matter of good practice, we also extend the following choices to anyone who contacts us, regardless of where you live: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or a portable copy of it, or ask us to stop certain uses. Email us at designs@cozybycoffield.com to submit a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
If you are a Delaware resident and disagree with how we handled your request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our decision. If your concern remains unresolved, you may contact the Delaware Department of Justice.
Retention, Security, and Children
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, our agreements with you, and our legal or accounting obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
This Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Other Websites and Changes to This Policy
Third-party links and embedded services (such as scheduling widgets or social media buttons) have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. We may update this policy from time to time and will post the revised version with a new effective date. If a change is material, we'll provide additional notice where appropriate.
